Your gift provides university and college leadership the flexibility to prioritize the needs of our students. Unrestricted gifts provide resources that allow RIT to take advantage of unanticipated academic and student life opportunities, make life-changing international experiences accessible, offer powerful career-building and research programs, and react to numerous unforeseen challenges our students face.
Support for RIT’s Graduate School General Fund gives students the opportunity to enhance their course of study with creative and entrepreneurial endeavors. Donor support provides students the opportunity to present at conferences, purchase materials or support a public exhibition of their work.
Annual gifts to the School of Individualized Study support students’ ability to study abroad, attend conferences, conduct research projects and take part in many other experiential learning opportunities, which are key to a well-rounded education and preparing students for the global workplace.
Lastly, support for RIT Libraries allows the Library to continue to serve as an essential resource for empowering student success and knowledge. With donor support, the Library is able to establish new programs, acquire new materials and technology, renovate spaces and respond to emerging needs of students and academic programs. The library functions as a living laboratory where students can practically apply what they learn in the classroom to solve real-world problems.
