Get your posters, noisemakers, and cheering voices ready as we welcome our newest students during the 2021 Tiger Walk on Wednesday, August 18!
Join fellow faculty and staff and cheer on our newcomers as they parade to New Student Convocation in the Gordon Field House and Activities Center. Students begin their procession at 2 p.m., so be sure to arrive early.
Register below to let us know that you’re joining us for this special RIT tradition. The Faculty & Staff Alumni Chapter will provide a limited number of noisemakers for registrants but supplies are very limited this year. We highly encourage you to bring your own, as well as any signs to welcome students to campus.
In accordance with RIT policy, masks are required inside the Gordon Field House and any indoor space you may enter while attending Tiger Walk or Convocation. We also kindly ask that attendees refrain from any high-fives or physical contact with our students and participants during the procession and parade. In case of inclement weather, we will meet on the mezzanine level where we’ll cheer on the new class as they enter Convocation. The Faculty & Staff Alumni Chapter is co-hosting the event with Academic Affairs and New Student Orientation.
